The thread gsean400 refers to is good and there is an excellent write-up of where to splice into in order to create an aux input.

There is another way which I have found works for me. There are lots of devices on the market which modulate the audio signal on to an unused FM channel. My one goes a step further in that the input is bluetooth and connects wirelessly to my iPhone. There are several on the market but mine's a Westlink at around $ 20 from Amazon.

Voila! Martini in the Morning straight off the net wherever I go. No dismantling, no surgery. What more could I wish for?

I've been using a Motorola T505 bluetooth speakerphone connection for years. It tunes to any unused FM station. When a call comes in (or I make an outgoing call) it pauses the music, then picks up where I left off when I'm done.

I also use Waze on my iPhone for navigation. I probably use it every day just to see where bottlenecks and accidents are around me. Love it.

Once again, gonna recommend the GROM. It uses the CD changer's port on the back of the radio, retains all the OEM functions but adds iPod, AUX, USB, Bluetooth if you want.

If you look in my car the only giveaway is the trio of cables in my center storage: iPod, AUX, and a USB for charging stuff. No splicing at any point.
