Default 98 400, CEL,Vsc,Vsc off lights on.

As the above title says, all of the above on. Hopefully someone can give some insight. A little history,
Car sat for about 3 months,1 of which with a completely dead battery.Replaced battery yesterday.Drove the car for a few hours yesterday all good with the exception of a louder than normal exhaust.Guess Jersey weather got to it.No lights on at all. Drove the car to work today and about 10 mins into drive all of the above came on. Car still drives like it did yesterday,no limp mode(Knock on wood) as I had it on the Parkway doing 80 with ease.Had to run a errand for work and again nothing different other than the lights on.Any idea where I should start looking?Could this have anything to do with brakes being needed, As I believe they are?Tyia.

I have the same problem. A friend of mind told me it could either be a sensor or brakes. However, my car isn't even registered so I can't even take it to a shop to validate the solution. But if your brakes are worn then they are mostly the brakes because I know I have to change my brakes for my car.

Disconnect the battery and make sure all the connections are clean. Reinstall and make sure they are tight and making good contact. Maybe get that battery checked also. See if that helps any.

And check that gas cap, make sure it's tight.

I have a hunch it has to do with the braking system, as thankfully it doesn't go into limp mode.Battery is brand new will check the connections.Maybe something loosened up.Checked the gas cap as well. Seems to be good and tight.Gonna stop by auto zone and see if they can pull some codes.Just don't want to destroy the car by driving it.

I am dealing with the same thing on my 99 GS400. Dealership says its the brake actuator assembly which is expensive as $h!t (through the dealership). I also have the Charcoal canister code

Took it to Auto zone to have codes read. Came up C1201, P1346 and P1351.I read and was told it could be dirty or thin oil. Going to start there since car has been sitting about 4 months. Any other ideas on what to look at?

Seems like this problem can have a laundry list of possible fixes.Never seen anything like this before.Could be an OCV,Could be a BMC could be timing belt etc.

Do you think it could be the OCV?
