hey guys, was looking at grabbing a 99 aristo and was wondering about some insight on it if you guys don't mind. Its a 99 aristo with the 2jz-gte vvti. has 168,000kms. I was told it needs cam seals and valve cover gasket(s). are the cam seals hard to do? thanks again for your input!!

Welcome! One of the best things you can do is replace the valve cover gaskets. My slow loss of oil practically disappeared. The other thing I did was the motor and transmission mounts. Do those and it will ride like a new car! At a stoplight I can barely tell the car is on now it's so smooth. Well worth it IMO.

Has the timing belt been done? If not do the timing belt and the valve cover and cam seals at the same time.
