Best 10" replacement subwoofer?!?
Hi CL,
I been through a few subs now trying to get the best and deepest bass out of my subs but can't seem to find the right one. My mono amp puts out 1000 RMS watts so I'm good there.
I just want to replace my subwoofer in the same hole it came out of without having to build any special boxes or take up trunk space.
So what's an awesome "BRAND and MODEL" for a 10" sub ?!?
Thank you very for your input.

If you want nice deep bass, you're wasting your time with the factory location. If you want good sound, have a tuned box built. Otherwise just put a factory Mark Levinson sub in. You could put a sub designed for free air, but it's still just 'ok'.
The rear parcel shelf would not survive 1000 watts of subwoofer anyways, one of many reasons it's a ****ty location for a subwoofer.

Thanks worse than asking whats the best suspension.
Too many options out there. All depends on listening habits and what you really like the sound of. everyone will have a different opinion of what they like.
I recommend going into a local car audio dealer and take a listen to some different subs.

I'm ok with the factory sub location, but the OEM sub surround can only go so far after 16 years! I'm just wondering if I can drop a new sub in without drilling new holes? Looks like I'll have to based on the factory sub hole locations.

OP you can use a pioneer shallow mount free air for some decent bass without much hassle
