Default Help with Rotors/LS400

Hello everyone,

needed some advise on what rotors to get. I am doing the LS400 swap and wasnt sure which rotors would fit correctly.

I looked at these but needed some confirmation. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Brem...1T2sll&vxp=mtr / http://www.ebay.com/itm/STOPTECH-SPO...VWopuF&vxp=mtr

didn't want to make a mistake and get the wrong product.

Thanks

any OEM LS400 rotor will work... you just have to trim back the shield a bit... i think the second one you linked is smaller diameter???

Like kamlung said, any OEM ls400 rotor should work. Have you checked rockauto?

I bought this kit: http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....363564&jsn=401

Maybe I've never ridden in an LS400 but does the break upgrade make it that mush better than the GS's stock breaking system? I mean, my stock break/rotor setup works pretty good and I wonder how much improvement I'd gain from converting to the LS400 setup.

Stock GS brakes are already good, but I didn't like the pedal travel so I 'upgraded' to the LS400 calipers. No real braking improvement driving around town.

Functionally it's nominal. Cosmetically it's huge.

i dont drive all that aggressively, definitely not enough to warrant bigger brakes. But like Debonair said, cosmetically its worth it.

Agreed!

It was the cheapest way to get the look so figured why not.

it comes in handy when you really need to stop. I wasn't paying attention one time and slammed on the brakes hard and literally got whip lash.....and they look great too, especially when polished!!!
