Tire leaks air but no nail...
I would like to know if anyone has more info on this as I'm currently experiencing the issue with just my front right tire. I've taken it to two shops now and both have not found any nails or problems with the tire but the leak still remains as I'm having to add air in every few days or so. Is it something with the wheel? I know both work wheels and nitto tires are good quality brands. Don't know why this is happening? If someone could please help!

I have chrome stock wheels and sometimes mine will do the same. Over time the chrome starts to oxidize and the rubber doesn’t seal with the chrome. When I go to Discount Tire to get a rotation, replacement or new tires they have it noted to use a sealant on my wheels. The tire shops need to dunk the tire under water and check for leaks around the rim area and not so focused on a nail.

Also try checking the bead around where the tire and wheel meet. One of my tires was emptying out every 4 days. After dropping the car off to have it checked, it turns out after so many years of exposure to elements/road salt/etc. part of the wheel was corroding which wouldn't let the tire seal to the wheel...

Thanks a lot for all the great info so far. This forums the best. You almost gotta feel lucky.
Anyways I'm thinking of just taking it to 88 rotors in El Monte ca where I got the tires from originally.
I'll update what I find out from them. Unless, someone can point out another more reputable shop?

So I went to 88 rotors this morning and they said my tire wasn't beading to the wheel which was causing the air leak. I believe the reason is because I recently cross flipped my tires due to inner camber wear and the other shop that did it probably didn't do a good job at it. Anyways I ended up ordering two new front tires nitto nt555 225/35/19 for $340. I'll just use the other front left tire that's still good as an extra backup spare. I will only go to 88 from now on for my tire needs.

Crappy workmanship bugs me! Glad to hear you got it solved.
