Default Need help with wheel fitment

I have a set of rims and tires that I am looking to purchase for this upcoming spring and summer. I have done lots of research and read many threads on CL here about fitment, but have not found any specific information about the set up I would like to go to. The closest thread was still off a half inch in rim width. I am wanting to buy 18x8 in rims and already have 245 40r18 tires already picked out for it. I want to make sure they are going to fit without any rolling or pounding. The rim is 18x8 with +35 offset. Thoughts? Also for more information I am going with lowering springs, not coilovers. I just want a simple drop and not a slammed look. I am going for more of a sporty look and will have a drop of 1.3". Thanks again.

that's very conservative sizing in comparison to what guys are typically doing here.

you shouldn't have anything to worry about
