Question 2000 GS300 RPMs on Highway??

New to the Lexus world but I wanted to know what kind of RPMs your GS300 turns on the highway? Mine on stock wheels shows 2750 at 70 mph...is this right? My daily driver is around 1800 rpm at the same speed. I'd be interested to know what yours turns. Thanks for the help.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't turning too many revs.

Yeah, at about ~120 km/h (75ish), I'm just below 3k. Revs a lot more than my last car!

Yeah, my K900 turns about 1700 on the highway while cruising at 70. Of course, the 425 HP V8 under the hood can handle those revs at that speed!

Has to do with the GS's final drive differential.
Put different gears in to alter the highway revs.

Most folks that do this put in shorter gears to add more revs and increase the acceleration performance a bit.
