ok watched the whole vid, go undo you negative battery terminal and it should release the key.

Didn't have to remove the negative cable, the battery died and the net came out afterwards.
Any suggestions as to what's causing this issue?????

Check a fuse that say cigarette, fuse 15 Am on the drivers side kick panel. Also, I read here a old thread that talking about the shifter have a small computer and that computer is very close to the shifter area. Maybe that small computer go bad.

Call your local lexus dealer and ask about if the shifter system have a computer? Good luck.

There is a lil cover to the left of the shifter u can open and insert a key of some sort, push in and the lever should move.

Ok guys after searching a lot I found this import junk yard
And they have very affordable prices and even ship any part
They sold me the Whole Shifter assembly for only$45 and with warranty !!!! I will install tonight and hopefully this fixes my problem
