ok guys thanks for the help with the flasher relay. now my next problem is that the headlights come on by themselves even when the car is off. I changed all the relays and its still happening. have anybody ran across this issue? if so how did you tackle it? I have a 2000 GS300. Thanks again.

Are your lights modified in any way, or is it all stock? Check the relay, its possible that its sticky. The other issue could be your body control module which is sadly a more common problem. Check the relay first though.

The lights are stocked. I changed the relay and it still does it. as I read you reply, I went online to check out some body control modules and it had a few ones on there. where is it located. under the dash or under the hood?
