What is my car worth?
#2
Hate to say it but if it was completely stock, you would likely get more for it.
Very few people...maybe 1% of buyers, would be interested in the mods you did to the car and the other 99% would think many of the mods are a detriment. JMHO

I want to know what area you are in that private party value is $13k.
Your responses are rather annoying and condescending. I hope that isn't how you speak in person because it really gives off an "I'm better than you" vibe.
The fact of the matter is, a modded car only appeals to a buyer that is looking for those mods.
If you already have a number in mind that you won't go below, then why are you even asking for other people's opinions? Hell, just have an appraiser come out and look at it and value it.
Just don't wreck it because then you won't even have to worry about how much it's worth because the insurance company will tell you lol. I'm in the middle of that right now with my 99 GS400 that is apparently a $3500 car.....
Book value on your vehicle looks to hover around the mid 8k range (I know you don't care about book value, but that's how most of the automotive world operates). Unless you post it for sale and someone interested in that specific list of mods sees it, you could probably only expect 8-9k from the general public. I just paid $6k for my 2003 GS430 to replace my totaled GS400.

So you just want people to give you a dollar amount without explaining the reasoning they used to get to that amount, (mileage, condition, and mods all play a part in reaching that number....)?
