What do you think is a reasonable price to expect out of this car?

2005 GS300 with 82k miles. 100% Stock when purchased. Have owned it since it had 60k miles.

Exterior: Millennium Silver Metallic (Great Shape)
Interior: Grey (Great Shape)

Mods:
Suspension: Tanabe Springs DF210 (installed at 70k miles)

Wheels: G35 rims with smooth Center Caps

Tires: Like new tires have 7/32 left

Brakes (All installed at 77k miles):
1. New OEM Supra TT Front Calipers--Powedercoated black
2. New OEM Rear Calipers--Powercoated Black
3. Zinc coated Slotted Rotors
4. Stainless Steel Lines
5. OEM Pads and OEM hardware

Audio:
1. OEM Aristo JDM Double Din kit
2. Pioneer 7 inch Screen
3. Alpine Speakers
4. 10 inch sub in factory location with sound deadner used for an infinite baffle system
5. Two Alpine Amplifiers.
6. OEM steering wheel controls synced to control the pioneer radio.

Appearance:
1. OEM Q45 projector RetroFit
2. Headlight bezels have been painted body color
3. L-Tuned Grill with black mesh and OEM L emblem (Grill is Painted body color and the center bar has been removed)
4. OEM Aristo Front bumper with molded TTE lip
5. OEM s2k exhaust tips
6. 2 year old 20% tint
7. JDM Crystal Clear Fog Lights
8. Depo LED Taillights

Maintenance:
Timing Belt and water pump changed at 70k miles.

The mods add no additional value unless you find a very specific buyer that like you, sees the mods as added value. Gray Book Value is as follows: $4250 rough, $6450 average and $8400 clean. So, take the middle between average and clean and you get $7200...somewhere around $7000 is going to be where it sells unless you catch somebody sleeping. Good luck with the sale.

Considering its your car and you know it inside and out i think swapping interiors is a smart move. Im sure you would hate to buy a different gs400 in your preferred color combo only to start having mechanical issues you didnt expect.

Interesting post. I just listed my baby for sale but I know it won't sell bcuz it's over priced but that's bcuz of all the mods and upgrades. Frankly I just tired of the suspension maintenance. I'll never buy another Lexus ever again. Really sucks bcuz it's a beautiful car. I get a lot of love on the streets. Here's my sales post:http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...7226/overview/

problem is everyone sees how cheap you can buy an 01 gs300. Most i noticed were around 2-5k when i was looking for under 100k miles. I noticed the nicer ones for 5-12k and figured why pay 5k more when you can have one for cheaper ..I dont agree with it just stating what the normal public would say. I didnt want anything under 5k because all of those are the cars with alot of problems

Not a chance you would get that price. Cars don't sell for 65% over blue book in any world.

From a private party standpoint, according to Edmunds.com (which dealers go by) it's worth $10,500. Of course the stealership won't pay that amount but I'm not going that route. I'll prob wind up keeping it, and continue to mod it.

This damm car has MADE me a better mechanic then I already was. Sincerely.

It's a beautiful car but no way you'll see anything even close to ask. Mods only lower the price unless you find a fellow traveler.

As a used car seller you are more or less stuck with the choices of that first owner: exterior/interior colors and trims. Drive train choices etc.

The 2GS is an aging body style. But there are some options that help preserve its value. Rare colors like red/cinnabar, or blue. Interior two tones. More wood trim including the wood/leather steering wheel.

And of course Sport Designs or V8's take the win.

Is it a 300 or 430? If a 430 you mah find a buyer since that model is rare. If it's a 300, good luck trying to get someone to shell out that kind of money.
