Default Ignition problem 2004 GS300

Hi and thanks for looking!

I had an ignition problem that came out of no where recently. Car drove fine one night, woke up to go to work and it wouldn't start. It would turn over, sound like it was about to start, and shut off.

All accessories worked fine, but a check engine light was on. Had a buddy come by and hook his computer up to it and it was giving ignition codes etc. Cannot remember the exact codes BUT it pointed to a coil pack.

Took the cover off of the motor, and low and behold, a squirrel had gotten in there and chewed through a wire on the coil pack in the rear center of the motor near the windshield.

When my buddy reached back there to check it, it touched the frayed end of the wire, and arc'd over and popped.

We fixed the wire, but now nothing happens when you go to start it. All accessories come on, and we can use windows or radio etc. Just nothing happens when you turn the key all of the way. No clicking, no nothing.

We checked what fuses we could, thinking that would be the issue, but I am wondering if anyone else has any ideas on where/what to check.

Please feel free to throw out any suggestions! I appreciate it.
