Just bought car. Running fine upon purchase. Short while later engine acts like it wants to stall at times. Check engine, VSC, VSC OFF lights come on. Engine occasionally corrects itself and lights may or may not go out. This happens sporadically. Auto Zone gave me code of P1349. Change oil, checked some oil filter/pump on top off engine (according to YouTube, plunger pulls in and out by battery testing). Any suggestions of what I can do to fix it myself?

If i remember correctly thats the code for oil control valve, but I'm not a 10% sure. It would cause what you are describing though

You are getting a intermittent fault. When its working properly, car runs fine. OCV will test fine. The plunger will move. When not working proper, car runs like crap. Cleaning it sometimes help. Recommend replacing OCV VALVE.
