Sale Value Question
Hey guys. I have a 2001 silver on black GS300 with 180k on the clock. Decent condition for it's age. I would rate it a 6.5/10 (some scratches, peeling paint, one rust spot on a wheel well). I have to buy a truck due to a growing family and roadtrips. Looking at Sequoias. What would be a fair asking price for the GS? I know that trade in would be crap, so, thinking of craigslist or here... I see these cars selling for all sorts of $$$$ from $2k to $10k. It is bone stock but has the following things done in the last 2 years. Located in Chicago.
New Pirelli tires on all 4 corners
New MAF sensor
New outer tie rods
New lower ball joins
New upper control arms
New lower control arms (both sets on each side)
New front pads/rotors/calipers
Timing belt
Water pump
Trans fluid change
Alignment
Car runs well, handles well, just too small. Thoughts?

a car that doesn't show well on the exterior usually does not sell well in my opinion. Based on what you said I would agree with the person above 3.5k. Seem like you spent alot on it recently, it could sell for higher to somebody who knows about these cars. Hence they would have an idea how much you already spent.
