OBX headers. See my threads in performance section. Horrible fitment on driver's side interfering with steering shaft, made car run super rich with absolutely ZERO performance gain.
Did the direct fit Borla Exhaust for my 1999 GS400 and it was loud for my taste. Funny people were saying it wasn't loud enough. Made me drive more aggressively and I think people wanted to race me more. . Luckily I was able to return it to Amazon for a full refund after 2 weeks.
When I first bought my GS4 I bought a set of Ksport drop springs. I didnt like the turnout and immediately got a set of coils. Other than that, I'm happy with what I've done so far.
So, with everyone modding, anyone mod something that didn't turn out the way they planned or that cost waaay more than the gains?
For me, nothing yet, just crossed 250k miles, just keeps running....
Just curious, what intervals did you replace timing belt on that 250K mile rig?
In terms of regrets... You hear it over and over and over... those that installed lowering springs and ended up spending money twice for coil-overs. Always just do the coil-overs.
JP rep spoiler for me. fitment wasn't great and tried almost everything under the sun to get it to hold from just 3M tape to extreme Epoxies. basically mutilated my trunk and paid to have it sanded and repainted probably the same amount it would have been to be professionally installed but I'm happy with it now but now it makes me real hesitant to get any Rep. parts :/
When I was running black wheels I painted my OEM grill black. Regretted that on a silver body.
And on a side note, I dunno, pretty pleased with my df210 drop springs RCA helped me get pretty low on 18s
