Newbie to the 2GS
Hi guys! I am a happy owner of a 2004 GS300 in Millenium Silver Metallic. The car had one owner before me and apparently took it to the dealer for every maintenance item (the guy changed the timing belt THREE times in 84k miles) and although it did have the major stuff done, the minor stuff wasnt really taken care of the way I think it should have been.
This will be kind of a project for me. Ive been looking aroudn the forums for a while but decided its time to start participating. Heres a list of the things so far I got done
-Oil change (desparetly needed it when I bought the car)
-windshield replacement (guy never replaced his wipers and created many fine scratches)
-checked for notorious lower ball joint replacement (apparently the mechanic says "its fine" but eventually I will change it for peace of mind
-detailed leather
-bought JDM double din faceplate for a stereo upgrade (going to get either a Pioneer or Kenwood double din non-nav for it)
-gas cap replaced
Theres a bunch more that I will have to get through and throw up some pics once I get to. I would like to meet up with any guys that are in clubs here in South Florida too so I can get some inspiration and ideas.

That's what's weird. The major stuff was taken care of all at the dealer since new. But some of the minor stuff (like the wiper blades) weren't paid attention to. I saw that the guy looked like he used this primarily for fun since he lived somewhere in boca raton but went to atlantic city every summer. I need some new rims though since the paints peeling off already.
