GS300 battery light staying on
Bought my 1998 GS300 in April. I live in Orlando and drove all the way to South Beach for it. As soon as I got on the turnpike to head back home, the battery light came on, and the car still ran perfect and made it back to Orlando with no problem. I have driven it all over the state and the car goes to and from with no hesitation. I replaced the alternator and battery with brand new ones, but the light is still on. The car still runs perfect, and never gave me any problems since ive had it. However, Ive noticed if the car sits for 2 or more days, the battery dies. Anyone have any idea what may be going on here? Really trying to get this fixed asap. All input appreciated

Try to unplug the battery wires cables for one full night, clean the terminals to reset your ECU to see what happen with that light. Also, check your fuses, expecially the fuse that say battery. Sometimes the fuse look go inside, but on the legs contact of the fuse no make a good conctact and send that error to the ECU and Closter. Good Luck with that and let us know what are you found.

Yea, don't think a fuse or ecu reset is gonna be the answer because there's actually a problem. (btw, no need to leave disconnected over night, it only takes like 15 minutes to reset the computer) If the car is dying after a couple of days (even with new alternator and battery) then you have a parasitic energy draw somewhere. Plenty of ways to find the issue, but heres the easiest way to show you. Follow these steps to trace this annoying parasite!

I wouldnt rule out a problem with the starter either. I can think of a few bad things to be an issue, but lets start with the easy cheap stuff.
