Default Where to get a PCM?

The local Lexus dealership Germain Lexus of Dublin says they can't get one for my 99 lexus gs300. Any ideas where i can find one? Was thinking of getting a used one off craigslist but i don't want to buy one just to have that one turn around and fail. I've also heard about some scams on these places that supposedly rebuild em? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Thanks guys! I hesitate to use an eBay computer because obviously it's used and may just leave me stranded again by the side of the road like this one did (when it fails). I like the idea of a re-manufactured one that hopefully has the problems from the factory ones fixed and comes with a warranty just in case. I'll have to call that place in Florida and see if they do GS's. Their website only says ES's and RX's.

On eBay you can get your money back if something going wrong. But I undestand that everyone have different ideas. Good luck and let me know any update.

Post a wanted ad in the classifieds here.

Your failure is an anomaly and you should have no concerns picking up a used take-off OEM unit from some wreck.
