2000 GS300 wont stay running
Hey guys i was wondering if anyone had any input as i havent had the time to scan it or check the car out. For a while i was having a hard start issue like the fuel pressure wasnt there and it would take a couple seconds cranking to start the car. So i bought a new fuel filter and strainer and replaced them as i have done before on this GS and on my previous ones. The hard starting problem stopped for a couple of days but when i went in the morning to start it the car will start, stay running for 2-3 seconds and shut off every time. If you hit the accelerator i will shut off immediately. Does this sound like a bad pump? Fuel pressure regulator? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Igniter or coil pack is bad. My money is on coil pack or spark plug wires. There is a safety feature that shuts the gas flow off when the code is thrown for the igniter. You get about 2-3 seconds worth of gas before shut down. Get the code.

Same issue
I have gs300 1999 im also having same issuse.
It started after changing my all three coils and spark plugs. After changing it the car was fine but after driving it for 15min it went off when i was waiting on traffic signal to turn green. I had done scanning there was code for vvt-i sensor and cam sensor, so i replaced the both but im still having the same issue.
My fuel pump is fine. I checked sprag plugs and coils. Fuel injectors are also working great. So plz help me out guys.

I have a similar issue with my 2002 GS300 after I changed the coil and sparks a few years ago.
It turns out it was the shorted wired at the one of the coil cable.
I redo the wire and then it run fine afterward.
