Default For canadians, price check on JZS161 Aristo with repairs needed

A friend is looking to maybe part ways with his jzs161 vertex, just wondering what a fair asking price would be for this car

Exterior: 7.5/10 shape , pearl white, no sunroof, OEM yellow glass fogs (not capsules)

Interior: 10/10 shape, JDM navy cloth (not the lighter blue) with blackwood, MFD thingy, sunshade, folding mirrors

KM: 118,000

Engine: passes compression test fine, one stock boost line is cracked, making 0 boost currently

Suspension: Was in major curb-type impact, alignment way off, unknown extent of damage but worst case maybe needs everything new on one side front susp.

VSC/TRS lights on.
no LSD (i know some aristos did have it factory)

Mods:just an intake,HKS SSQV, LED tails, full LED all bulbs, 30% tint all around, toyota window visors, 01+ chrome shifter ring
Stock 5-spoke chrome 17s and unknown alloy winter wheels

Just wondering what a fair asking price for this car is, knowing it needs some work to get back on the road, I was guessing like $5200 obo but not sure at all, what do you guys think?

Depends on where you're from. Here in Canada there's ones with very minor problems that go for around 6000. A mint one could be imported for around 7000.

If you're from the U.S. though I feel like the price would be way higher due to the ****ty import laws/their rarity. For all those problems you listed, 5200 doesn't seem too bad.

I wouldn't pay more than 2500$ given the unknown extent of damage underneath/not running properly, stock wheels, and those km and relatively high for an aristo that came to canada,as far as I know the japanese can't drive these cars past 60,000km due to emission, typically when you see these aristos up for sale they're in and around the 75,000km mark, considering you can buy an aristo in good shape for around 5-6 landed and registered in Cansda, again,I wouldn't pay more than 2500$ for the car. But that's personal preference as well.

Okay well if it's in Calgary then you're definitely gonna have go for less. I'd expect 3000 to 4000 for that
