Default Should I remove my badges??

Hey fellas,

I'm finally dropping my Lexus GS 430 to the paint shop tomorrow to paint some mod parts that i brought from CL members over the years. Painting front bumper, front lip, back bumper, trunk spoiler, shark fin, roof spoiler, redo black roof, window visors and maybe my LED mirrors. I was thinking while the car is in the shop should I remove my badges to have a much cleaner look. I know its all on me but what would you do? Thanks in advance

I like having badges, but I don't mind GS's being debadged except for the 'L'. IMO looks pretty tidy

My GS400 is debadged, but I am going to put them back on cause I want people to know I have a GS400. If I were you, I'd put yours on to let people know you have a 430.

You have a 430, why would you debadge it when thats the best one you can get? Only debadge a 300 because you wish you had a 400/430 . You should be reppin your 430 with pride! Not many around.

First thing I took off, cheap plastic GS300 ones suck! I am sure you guys with the 400/430 platinum ones have more reason to keep em

This has been my experience with most cars that are debadged. Base model or lower engine option - shave'em. Top end model - keep'em. Seems be the same across all makes.

I say do what you want. It should be purely preference.

Related story: I worked with a guy who yelled at a body shop for putting the C230 emblem back on his car as part of an accident repair. He actually told them he did not want people to know it was a base model. Clown.
