Wheel fitment on gs300
Hey guys,
So I bought a 2000 gs300 a couple months ago and finally decided that im going to put it on bc br coilovers and most likely the Zedd sl5 wheels. Just looking for some advice if I should get a staggared setup for this car or not. If not I'll just go without 9.5 all around but the offsets are so much less than the recommended specs. They come in 12 and 22 so my question is, would these fit fine or need fender modifications? Or would I he able to get a spacer or would that not help? Still kind of new to the suspension part of things. Also what tires would be ideal for this setup. I live in Vancouver washington and we don't have the smoothest roads
Thanks everyone!

I have 8" ET10 in front and it could use 10mm spacer to sit flush with the fender.
So your fronts are gonna be ~1,5" further out than my with ET12. It's alot and imo it requires camber and pull (or atleast roll/shave). Depends how much you stretch tires.
Rears are gonna fit just fine with those specs. I'm too lazy to calculate the difference.
I think they come quite close to the fender line with that ET and width. I have 11" ET20 and they come more than 1" out of the fenders.
Edit: You might need to shave/roll your rear fenders too.

I have 215/30 so not much of a stretch and they rarely rub to the fenders with that height. Camber is about -3,3.

My rear wheels are 18x9.5 30mm spacer brought my offset down to an *effective 10. 225/40 tires. -3 camber and its spot on flush...no lip pokage, not sunk. Smack dab flush with the 1/4 panel. 1/4s are shaved all the way down. Fenders still have abit more of a lip on them still. If you're dead set on those wheels id go with the higher offset ones up front and lower offset ones for rears. I wouldn't recommend anything less than a 225/40 for front tires due to load range...which, if you're planning on lowering your car means I wouldn't go any skinnier of wheel up front than an 9.5. Ask me how I know, lol.

tire size choices and load index. For instance, my 215/40 front tires for my 8.5s barely give me the clearence I need - id really like to go down to a 205/40 but I'm already pushing it with my 215/40 load index is something like 89...drops even lower to like 85 on the 205/40s. When I replaced my tires this last time the insides were all bubbled. Not the inner sidewall that's visible if you look under the car but inside of tire innersidewall, visible once tire is u mounted. I don't know if that had more to do with brand of tire (delinte) or load index...maybe abit of both. So in short, with a 9.5 or wider wheel you can go down to a 225 or 235 and be close(r) to OEM load index and still achieve the clearence needed when low/flush

These cars can handle a ton of wheel - it's all about the right combination of width, offset, and tire size.
I run 20x10 front and 20x12 rear with 255/30-20 and 295/25-20, so if you're up to do a little work you can get away with a lot.

So I decided on getting different wheels. I'm going to get the mrr hr3 wheels. I have a couple questions about the best fitment though. I'm thinking of getting 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Since it has such a high offset (I believe around 35) I didn't know if those sizes would be alright or if I should get 9.5 all the way around. I just bought the bc br coilovers a couple days ago so the car will be lowered. I want the wheels to sit pretty flush with the fenders so any input on size of wheels I should get would be nice. Also any input on good tires and sizes for these wheels? Don't really want to stretch them much. Thanks alot!
