Lightbulb 03 GS300 Sport Design W/ Saddle. How Much Should I Pay?

Hello CL, Just curious if anyone can tell me how much a 2003 GS300 Sport Design W/ Saddle goes for. Im about to purchase one but I want to pay a fair price.

The one I am looking at is super clean, not many dents or scratches. Everything is all original with 108,xxx miles on the ODO. No CEL lights or ABS, VSC lights on. Everything works, radio, AC.etc. Car is all one color, Graphite Grey Pearl, Black interior with saddle seats, wood grain on the wheel.

It has some minor small paint chips on the hood near the grille, not very noticeable, a small dent on the gas cap, but other than that, its pretty mint. Interior is clean, non smoker, no rips or tears and never wrecked.

Car has OEM HID Auto Level and it works, along with Mark L sound, but no Sat Nav. Has brand new drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk Pads, TTE front lip, and Megan racing mid pipe. I dont care much for the aftermarket stuff but wanted to add it in.

They are asking 10,000. Is that a fair price to pay? It seems like it is, but I'm curious as to what others have paid?
Thanks in advance!

If kbb has anything to say about it, its only worth $6300. Aftermarket parts doesnt do much. I wouldnt pay more than 7 for it and thats being generous. A car is only worth as much as someone needs to sell it and how much someone really wants it. I think 10 is ridiculous, the seller is trying to get all his money back for the added parts and is preying on a desperate buyer.

OP this is the answer you're looking for. Aftermarket doesn't increase value. No way I'll pay $10k for this model car in 2015. There was a time I may have paid a premium for saddle, but that phase is gone.

OP, is this from a dealer, or private party. Dealer price does say over 8k, doesnt mean they have to get that...

Dealers here locally with that package are asking 12k and up.
But Im buying from a private party. I dont even look at KBB when it comes to valuing cars. KBB is never correct. They are either WAY off, or just a little over. Prices very on location of course.

Its still a reference, and I used your local zip code for pricing. Nonetheless, 12k is ludicrous! Look in the classifieds and you'll find fully modified mint GS's for that price. You might say, "but they dont have saddle", well then thats where my initial statement comes to hand, its worth as much as you're willing to pay. 8k is pushing it IMO (and others)

Of course 12k is ridiculousness, its from a dealer. I usually see fully modded, and I mean inside and out FULLY modded GS run close to 20k. But 7-8k seems like a fair price to pay. I paid 6,900 for my 02 Sport Design a year ago.

I can barely understand this...but I understood enough to know that you were lying when stating your car is worth that amount.

Curious to know if 1 year newer and saddle interior is truly worth the extra $3,100...?

I mean, its a year newer, with WAY less miles. 108k is very low for a 2JZGE.

I always see this one on the Chicago craigslist and it does not sell so they might be asking too much for it. It almost sounds like what you have described.
