Default Damn thieves broke my window!!!

Hey fellas. Woke up this morning to my car getting broken in to and smashing my passenger door window and snatching my radio. I didn't think people steal radios anymore. So I assume there kids. Has anyone replaced this window and if so, how hard was it? I searched the forums to see and they don't have one for our 2nd gen cars. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!!

Try Aliga in our classifieds, a vendor who sells a lot of salvage parts from 2GS.

Not sure if he ships glass, but worth asking.

If you buy a window and do the install yourself it would be easiest to get the window with the bottom track still attached to it.

Look up the door lock actuator diy video on YouTube. The guy takes the window out in the video. It's pretty easy looking

This had happened to me about 2 years ago. If you do decide to do it yourself, just remember to vacuum up as much glass as possible and be very cautious not to cut yourself on any broken fragments. For the most part, this is a fairly easy task and would probably take an hour at most including the time to get rid of all the broken glass.

Sorry to hear about that, I've replaced that same window before it was fairly easy. An hour with clean up is just about spot on for your first time. Karma will catch up with them.

damn crack heads!

I had my aftermarket navi stolen years ago also, they didn't bust out the window,
but they did butcher up my main harness costing me 5 hundred dollars to repair

my condolences and hope you get it to it's former glory soon
