Default Its a secret society....

I'm the proud new owner of a 1998 GS400. It has 133K on it and was a one owner from Florida with all the maintenance history. The timing belt was changed at 96,xxx. I'm new to the 2GS forum but not Club Lexus. I currently have a 94 GS300 that I will put up for sale very soon.

I don't have a lot of plans for mods. Below is what I plan on doing:

- Tint
- Supra TT Brake upgrade
- upgrade head unit
- HID kit

Does anyone know what OEM Lexus wheels clear the Supra calipers?

Search the brake section, there's a sticky on those brakes.

Looks very nice. I know the 2nd gen IS rims clear BBK, not to familiar on the rest of the Lexus rim line up.

Oh forgot to mention, you might also want to look into doing the LS400 big brake upgrade. They look MUCH better, most likely cheaper and probably easier to get a hold of:

Thanks! I will look into the 2Gen IS wheels. I would prefer if they were chrome. I will see what I can find. Good info.

I may take a look at the LS setup. I'm sure it's a lot cheaper. My only concern about the LS calipers is the modification that I have to make to get the caliper on. The TT"s are direct bolt on. I have the Supra TT on my 1GS and I love it. I can only imagine how much better it would on my 400.

LS's are direct bolt on as well. Again, check out the stickies in the brake section.
