Default light polish+meguiars wax turned my paint into glass

Got some crazy reflections after polishing and using multiple light coats of meguiars gold class carnuba wax. Just wanted to share some pictures. Everyone cant stop looking at my paint.. And i cant either.. Had a couple beers with my friends tonight and we chilled in my garage for 2 hours just looking at it.

My phone camera is horrible, it looks amazing in person. I cant believe it.. Only onxy black can shine like this

I started doing the mothers 3 step wax system, got done stage 1 and quit. Your cars paint looks great, that fender gap is killing me tho!

Dude its killing me too! Its soo dirty under there! Im still saving cause i want to do everything at once. Going to get the front wheels hub shaved. Rear wheels fitted with a bigger lip. All fenders slightly pulled. Then dropped just enough to get rid of the gap.

Nice job on getting that black to shine gsean. I did pretty much the same that you did a couple of weeks ago. Mine was the wash, Maguire's clay bar/spray wax and then Brazilian Carnuba that I had left over from a couple of years ago.

Its okay man.. You dont really need to wax pearl white, cause it already looks beautiful! Just wax to protect Lol i wish i had pearl white, this is my 3rd black gs second gen gs and each time i was looking for one i couldnt find one in pearl white.

How do you like having a black GS, I'm thinking of buying one but I've never owned a black car, is it worth it when it looks good or do you have to constantly detail it?

I have always liked the way black cars look, however they are a pain in the *** to maintain (if they are your daily). I am looking to paint my black GS white.

Hmm.. Everytime i wax it, its worth it to me. I like looking at it, and so do others. I do dust off the car with a duster everytime i get home. Black looks horrible in the sun, the dirt and dust combined with slightly faded paint really really shows and so does any scratches. I wash about once a week, and wax every 2 months.
