Default Lurch at low speeds

Hey guys so ever since I got my car I've had this slight "issue" if it even is one. Its hard to describe the problem but if I'm approaching a stop sign and I roll it at low speeds (less than 5 mph) and push the accelerator I get a very slight lurch or jerk. The best way to describe this feeling is if the drive shaft was not torqued down to the pumpkin (i.e. having some play between where it bolts up) I've put it on a lift and mechanically everything seems to be good. Is anyone else having this problem? I don't think my transmissions going out because I only have 93k miles and have never read about people having trannys go out on them. Thanks.

I know exactly what you are talking about, I have been experiencing the same thing. Its hard to describe for sure......I haven't been able to figure it out, just equated it to the traction kicking in so the car would speed off. Guess because its "a luxury car" it should drive slow and smooth off the line....IDK

Its almost like the car doesn't no if it should be in 1 gear or not so when I hit the gas it has a delay then catches. But yea I can try checking the transmission mount for sure.

I have a similar sort of issue. It almost feels like the transmission is slipping, and then it grabs second. I'm gonna try change some of the trans fluid at the next service, and check the trans mount.

Same thing happens with my ES330 occasionally but doesn't bother me much. Tagging this thread.

Have the exact same issue, glad we are not alone!

I get it when I am slowing down on an incline down grade, car seems as if its not sure if she should be in 1st or 2nd gear and well "lurks".

Tranny mount?

How many miles are on your car? Have you ever changed you motor mounts and transmission mount?

Never changed mounts, but am planning on swapping in a 2JZ-GTE and doing plenty of maintenance.
