Default Should I buy 2002 GS300 Sport Design

I found a higher mileage (140k) GS300 sport design with impeccable service records, 30k 60k 90k mile service, timing belt replaced, trans fluid changed, new plugs, one owner, female owned

Any reasons to avoid this car based on engine or trans issues ?

Can I average 20 mpg ?

TIA

These are very reliable cars and at that mileage I wouldn't be too concerned especially with its documented service history.

Mpg will depend mostly on your Type of driving. If it's all short journeys around town you may struggle but on a long steady run it will be easy to obtain.

My 430 will do around 16mpg around the town and about 25 on a long run and that includes having some fun

I say pull the trigger, I couldn't be more satisfied with this car. Only had mine a couple weeks, but from my navigation mpg calculator, it says I am averaging 20-21 for city driving. I don't really drive crazy but not like a grandpa either.

Yeah avoid the engine Nothing sport about a GS300. Get a GS430. I do see that you have a "430" in the family. A GS430 is faster than your Sc430. I may consider it if it has the saddle colored seats

BTW female owned is not a plus for me. Chances are that they never look under the hood to check things and will blindly drive the car not realizing something is wrong/failing.
