Default Painting Lower Bumper Grill

Tried searching but I don't think there's a thread dedicated to this. I also don't want to go through all the threads to find specific pics.

Just wanted to see what other members are doing with their lower bumper grill (the one between the fogs). Some members have painted them black, but I was wondering if it would look different if it was plastidipped so that it's not so glossy. I also wanted to see what grill they had with it. I've seen the lower portion blacked out with a TRD (just an example) type grill where it just has the mesh grill in the middle instead of slats like the OEM ones. My front is completely stock right now and I have a DIY chrome grill as well as an SD grill. I have been toying with the idea of plastidipping the lower portion because there are a few deep rock chips.

Can you guys post up your front ends? Please and thanks!

I kinda like this look.. I have a DWP GS and an unpainted TTE rep. Might go this route instead. Could someone photoshop the two lower slats black for me?????

if you paint he bumper grill black, it looks like there is a smiley face on the font of the car.

thank you brother, that stormtrooper name is pretty nice. Didn't know it was actually a thing for cars until I google'd it. lol. I left my bumper grill white because it looked too busy if i painted it black since I already had a black lip and grille. I tried to keep it clean and classy, but at the same time, with a nice feel to it. Kind of like a sport/luxury thing. But if you do it like Clos430, that's a pretty clean look.

Chrome trimmed the tips of the slats on mine.
Pretty subtle on a silver body.
Considering removing the chrome trim, painting it black and re-running the chrome trim.
Switching up the grill to LX Mode.
