Default Forgestar F14s: I want some feedback from the club!

So, those of you that know me know I took off my staggered Maya ST5s because they we're beat up and I was tired of spending a fortune on tires. Yet, here I am looking at a staggered set of 19" wheels again. The 19" rims just make the car look so much better. A buddy of mine is selling a set of 19" Forgestar F14s. The rims are 19x8.5 +26mm in the front and 19x10 +30mm in the rear. We tested fitment with my spacers on and it seems like they will fit fine, maybe a 5mm spacer in the rear.

Anyway, I wanted your guys feedback on these rims. I plan to get them chrome plated immediately, because right now they're red
I don't think I have ever seen a set of chrome plated F14s, and I have only seen them on one other 2GS.

Here is us testing fitment in the rear. Please excuse the dirty car, I was doing donuts in the dirt just before we took this (it was right after I installed my TC)

And here is what the rims look like new: http://www.forgestar.com/v2/wheelsf14.php

Thanks in advanced for the feedback!

Haha... I was actually thinking of getting mine chromed for a while but the chroming + shipping costs put me off of it. I think they'd look good though.

Have the rimshop Strip the paint and polish them and add a clearcoat.

Don't chrome them...

These wheels come very light for it's size. ~20lb or so in 19x10
I want to get some 18s, they're as light as RPF1s. Look good too!

I actually really like that idea. That way I can keep them lightweight like Forgestar intended. Would probably look really good too.

Personally I hate chrome, but whatever floats your boat I guess. I would sand blast the whole wheel (it should look fully machined) then gloss smoked clear coat it. It should end up like this

They're nice wheels, I personally have a thing for brushed aluminum with a clear coat. Gives a nice depth to the finish. Finish is all personal preference. Those are smoothe though!
