GS300 oil filter
I usually use the 90915-yzzd1, but today grabbed the D3 for my GX470 and put it on the GS300. Same diameter except the D3 is about an inch longer. The thing I like about the D3 is that it is easier to get the end cap filter wrench on better.Any one else use the D3 vs D1?

I use the Amsoil equiv of the Wix 51515. Most Lexus use a Wix 51348.
You can use a Wix 51348 (note this from Wix has FINER filtration than most others), the WIX 51516 (The longer version) and the Wix 51515 (the longer and fatter version).
I highly recommend the the 51515 because 1 it is higher capacity, 2, more oil capcity, 3, less pressure DROP across the filter, so the filter won't be bypassed in cold weather on cold start. Most people don't realize the filter will by bypassed when there is around 4 PSI. Yes, that low. So it doesn't take much to bypass the filter.
I run as large filter as I can.
If there is room, find the biggest filter you can run. There are no negatives. Just make sure there is no possibility it can hit anything.
