headlight wiring? quad projectors
Ok so basically I am going to be doing a quad projector retro in the following weeks. The thing is I want all 4 projectors to turn on as lowbeams. basically where the drl/highs go. How would I wire this up? Has anyone done this before? I'm thinking of splicing into the low beam plug but wont it need some load resistor or something so I don't burn the wires and pop a fuse? Please and thanks for reading

You may want to check the local laws in your area because I'm under the assumption that four low beam lights "may" be illegal... although I could be wrong. As for wiring it, I've seen harnesses for splitting a singular headlight into two.

i would not recommend splicing into the low beam to have quads, your best sure way is to make a separate wiring harness for the second set of projectors you can check out theretrofitsource.com to see the different types of wiring harnesses that you will need as for the switch to turn it on any switch will do on/off

Outer lights -> normal xenon projectors.
Inner lights -> bi-xenon projectors.
This setup would be legal in Finland so it must be legal in the States too.
You can't have double highs but you can have double lows, atleast in here.
Edit: Sorry, I just googled a bit and it has been illegal to have double lows in Finland since 1981.
It could still be legal in the US.

i once had this problem, but this was way too complicated for me.
i had originally wanted to do quad projectors as well but ultimately decided to go with 3" dedicated low beam hella E55, and left the high beams alone (i hardly use them anyways).
if you're going quad--
you'll need to remove the DRL fuse since it'll mess with the shields goin up and down (i think) and create some sort of harness such that both sets of projectors go into high beam when you hit the stalk.
experienced retrofitters could help you better
