Default oil leak after valve cover done.?

1998 gs300 replaced the valve cover gasket and spark plugs a few days ago. good news is there isn't any more leak from the valve cover. now I notice there's a leak oil is on my headers now.. I don't know where it is coming from but seem like under the throttle bottle opening where the pipe goes right under it seems wet too. motor was degreased etc. etc. notice a leak or something on my water pump as well. can't seem to figure it out.

The leaks you are describing all sound like valve cover gasket leaks. Did you torque it down to specs and in the right sequence? Over-tightening and tightening out-of-sequence will cause a valve cover to warp and the gasket not to seal properly; and therefore will leak. Also, oil leaks on the front passenger side of the engine (above the water pump) could be the cam seals and/or VVT-i pulley. Take the upper timing belt cover off. Crank the car and hold a piece of white paper over the timing belt and see if you can see oil coming from either of the cam seals or the front of the VVT-i pulley. If so it will show as oily spray on the paper or may be obvious on the pulleys.

Exactly what he said. It's more than likely your vvti pulley or the seals.

EXACTLY !!
Learn the correct torque specs and sequence and do it right. You'll be surprised that the torque is not very much. I forget what it is, but search these forums.
Good luck, and take your time.
