I have a 2002 gs430 that needs a new alternator. Im comparing the one for my gs430 to the one for an ls 430 and it looks almost identical.

Can anyone confirm that the Ls 430 alternator will fit my Gs?

The Ls 430's alternator has 130amps vs the gs430's 100amp output. And here at Autozone the one for the LS is 90$ cheaper! Lol. Any takers?

I too would be interested in your finding. maybe take it apart and compare it at autozone before slapping that beast on.

Go on Sewell parts and look at the part numbers and see of they match

! I wish this was mentioned before. I would have tried this just last month when I replaced mine. I actually got mine rebuilt and I would have told him to use the ls430 internals or whatever. I wanted more amps but I just said forget it, I'm getting too old to bump anyways.
