Default Looking for some opinions/experiences

So I've had my gs for 3 years now. (Wahhhhhh right?) Thinking about getting into something else. I get bored with cars very easily expensive habit, but I do what I want

Anyway,

I love the Jdm sedan scene, so if I stick with a sedan I might just go for next gen GS but with no less than a v8! I've been hunting for a GS460 but those are hard to come by! I really can't think of too many clean, inexpensive v8 sedans that I would be steered towards? But I'm open to change....any ideas?

My other choice, is making a huge change and picking up a 2015 5.0 mustang....six speed of course...performance package and Ricaros and I'm golden! Reason for this choice is its new, fast, a v8, and I have been feening for a manual car since I sold my 350z.

Let's hear some chatter! I've got some time to kill so I figured why not spark up a convo on CL!!

It's a big beautiful car. I'm not a mustang fan at all.
If you want to go faster than a 2015 5.0 gte swap your gs, that's what I did.

If I could find a clean m56 that would be a killer sedan too. Damn I need to narrow it down to auto manufacturer lol

It's been on my mind for quite sometime. 10k and way less reliable though. I'm not a super baller enough yet to basically have a project car. But boosting my stock 2j mildly might suffice my appetite for change. I mean I do work for Garrett turbos

My car hasn't become less reliable tbh. I drive it to and from Conroe(100 miles round trip) most every day of the week. I am having issues with other things that were on the car before the swap but no real issues with the swap itself. I kept it autp and was in the ballpark of 6k

For real? 6k not bad. Mind if I get the specs and what kit you used and supporting mods? Thanks!

ISF has always been a crush. Only thing stopping me is knowing that the is350 is cheaper, and not much slower than the isf

I bought an aristo swap, ordered the aristo fuel pump and drive shaft.
ebay fmic, local shop did a custom 3 inch down pipe and exaust, and a greddy boost cut controller.
Then I had a local guru/friend do the swap for me.

The more simple the more reliable. it's faster than a 2009 s63 and kept up with a Gallardo until about 75mhp.

Are you running single on there? I'd love to run a single gt2871r. Great spool time, not much lag and still good numbers.

I'm running the stock twins in sequential mode at 16 lbs. I love the power at the low rpms and then the kick at 4k rpms.

I'm not very knowledgeable but I think that turbo is a tad small.

I've been told the holset hx50 complements the 2j pretty well.
