Default nrg QR question

im thinking bout getting an nrg QR steering wheel and my only two concerns is [1] what will happen to the up down buttons on both sides of the wheel can they be removed or will they just hang around like my ball sack [2] is their a wheel that still lets me use cruise control and still look flushed (not zip tie-ing the cruise control to part of the steering column or some **** lol

I just changed to a gutted wood wheel a couple days ago so i'm pretty familiar with all the wheel guts.

You can run fine without the shifter buttons, it doesn't throw a code or anything, i did it for like an hour without any problems (had to run and buy electrical tape lol)

The cruise I'm not sure where you could mount it, it has 3 screws and quite a large backing plate that holds it into the wheel. I think you could probably fix it to the back of the new wheel somehow and it would look pretty decent.
