Default Gs 430 ac not working help

I have a 2002 gs430. I had the ac compressor and the drier replaced two weeks ago. It blew cold for a while then after qbout 10 days it started to blow warmer and warmer. Now it barely blows cool. Low side is reading 70 psi and high side is around 200-210 at about 90 degrees.

Im stuck. I see the freon still moving in the sight glass, u guys think the condensor could be clogged? expansion valve stuck open? moisture or air in system?

low should be like 22-36 and high should be 199-227

is the compressor kicking on and staying on?

Lol yes I pressed the ac button.

And I thought the low pressure should be around 40-50 when its over 85 degrees outside? Yes the compressor stays on

ac systems are weird. it could be anything really. how much freon did you put in?

there are so many forums and stuff dedicated to ac systems. theyre good to read.

ive done my ac and i tried to flush the lines. no luck. lines were **** cause the compressor took a **** and there were shavings throughout the whole system. i basically bought the whole system and threw it in. cold as **** and i know it wont fail for a long long time.

the condensor really has small openings for the freon and it should be replaced when re-doing your ac

Sorry for the late reply i had lost my login info.

Basically i want to know, how likely is it that i need to replace the expansion valve? from what ive searched it is behind the dashboard....The Shop wants to charge me 0ver 400 JUST for the the expansion valve labor.

Total job with parts and labor will cost me 1200...lol I just want to know if everyone always changes the Expansion valve as well as the condensor and compressor on the gs.

$1200?! That's more than doing a full motor swap.

how vital is it to replace the condenser? I have a dent in mine, but I would love to believe that my freon was just flushed during my motor swap

sorry abgout the late reply. ive been busy as ****.

but yes the condensor should always be replaced as well. sometimes you can get away with not changing it. i warn people who want me to do their ac so i've seen it many times. the super fine aluminum shavings will destroy new compressors so quick. you have to make sure the whole system is free of debris.

are your lines all clear after you changed out the compresor?

Default fixxed!!!!

Hey guys I fixed my ac! It was the expansion valve. High side was reading 200-300. Loe side was 70-95....the expansion valve was stuck.
.I did a vacumm for 1 hour...then changed the expansion valve. This was so easy to do. All the post I searched said the dash needed to be removed. They were all over working themselves. ..

The expansion valve is just above the gas pedal to the left. I used an allen key to remove the two screws that hold it in place. Used a flathesd screw driver to gently pry the lines out. EASY 30 min fix
