Default Flowmaster mufflers short lived.

So after many months of research I pulled the trigger on some 40 series flowmaster's for the GS430 and married the mufflers to five inch diesel tips. I loved the sound and look until the wife got in the car and said it's too loud for the baby. I say it's not loud but to keep the wife happy they were chopped off and $750.00 dollars later I'm back to the factory mufflers.

Here are some pics. Enjoy.

I don't know why it won't let me post more pictures on the original post. Sorry but this is the only way I can post more pics. :-)

My $0.02:

If you're in the Rust Belt, spend a little extra and get the 409 grade stainless Flowmasters....

Sucks you had to do that. Great looking and I am sure an even better sounding set up. Hard to argue with the your better half.

It sucks but you know what they say a happy wife is a happy home. Haha!
Now I just have to find some nice tips that will work with the factory mufflers.

I had these welded onto the factory mufflers. The exhaust tips from an S2000 also work well, the oval shape fits the bumper opening nicely.
