Default Anyone know where to find the alternator wire color codes?

I got a new plug for my alternator and i need to put the wires back together, the guy sold me the plug with butt connectors and heat shrinks on it and he said to connect the wires to the alternators wires that are battery light and ignition.... But the thing is i cant find out witch wires those are, all i see is yellow, red, and Green/ red stripe. Can anyone lead me to a place where i can find out witch wires are what?

Yellow is usually constant and red being ignition. Its just a matter of getting a test dude and testing each wire.

Thanks guys for the help. I actually just looked at the old plug, it helped me find witch wires went in from left to right for the new plug. Butt connectors/heat shrinks/ zip ties and lots of electrical tape did the trick
