Default P1349 on GS400

Was getting P1349 once every few days and I would simply reset it. Then it started happening all the time. Highway driving would be fine but as soon as I slowdown the idle would be rough. Did my research on Clublexus and came to the conclusion it's my OCV. Ordered from Sewell, changed it out and the car is back to normal. Change out took about twenty minutes.

Check the "performance" section. There is some valuable info in there about this topic. Personally, I just had this code on my GS300 and got it taken care of with a little research. It is a common problem.

Default re 1349

I hope you change both of them because there is also a screen filtering for the vvti valves on the gs400 that the engineers got ride of on the gs430. Those screens can be changed and cleaned and reused according to the condition of them. Good Luck

I've been trying to find the location of these screens on the 1uzfe. Everything I find is on the 2jz engine.
