What's up CL. I haven't posted here for a while. Heck, my last post was my introduction and pictures of my GS3 when I first got it. I also went jobless for a while so I haven't done anything to the car besides a muffler delete (which sounds like sex) and putting on stock wheels. (excluding mechanical ****)

To break it down, I've found a stable job and I'm ready to start restoring this car to what it's supposed to look like (sex).

I need some few more things to fix on it (mechanical and new front grill), but besides that the time for a paint job is just getting closer. So what I ask from you guys is some opinions and suggestions.

What I REALLY want to paint it is grey. I have barely seen any GS's that are grey and that's exactly what I'm looking for. Plus when I see a car with grey paint I can just imagine it on a GS and think it will look amazing. The problem is, what colored grey?

I have a few ideas and couple friends have some too. Since I can't seem to find any grey GS's I can't show pictures with grey on it, but on other cars I could.

This is what I think would just look great on the car. I wish I could find a grey GS to visualize it myself, but the grey ones I've seen are just different.


My friend is saying Porsche grey which I agree with him here to. It looks amazing.

I don't have any color codes yet but once it comes down to it I'll find them. These are just two examples and could really use the help of you guys to find the right color.

I would do a "battle ship grey" its similar to the porsche but a little lighter

Grey must be one of the dullest colors I can think of and those examples doesn't make exceptions.
Why grey, why not something that pops up the second you see it?

Yeah, I hate grey paint. Looks so old. The rarest colors on the 2GS that looks great IMO is Black Cherry and Blue Onyx Pearl. To this date, I have NEVER seen a blue onyx pearl 2GS in person. I'm looking to paint my car shortly and I only have two options in my mind right now: 1) 3GS Glacier Mica Pearl and 2)Maserati/Ferrari Blue Mediterraneo. Right now the blue is leading the charge. it's beyond beautiful!!

If that's the color you want, you should contact Mercedes and get the color codes and the descriptions. Then have a shop paint your car using that Mercedes color code.

I want something dark. I would keep black onyx honestly but all the dust in LA the car looks like crap within 3 days of a wash. Can't stand it

I've seen the blue onyx pearl on a 2GS, yes it does look sick but it's not what I'd want to do :S.

That looks amazing. Ahhh so many greys to choose from >.<. Thanks man that's going down as an option.
