Question Auto transmission gte problem

So I have noticed that my car will only go to 105 or 110 can't remember which one but once u reach this speed it slows down and than goes back up and repeats this. Is this normal? It's ok for street but if I decide to take to track this may be a problem on my 1/4 mile times. What do u do to take it off this limit?

It's the factory speed cut in the ECU. You can get a speed cut defender and wire it in or look for a TOM'S ECU (rare and expensive). The speed cut defender fakes the speed signal to the computer after a certain speed and can cause an unwanted downshift into third if you let off and start accelerating again at unsavory speeds. The TOM'S computer has been reprogrammed and effectively delimits the car, as well as running more aggressively.
