Default What are some expensive rims that look good on the 2gs

Just pulled out a loan for 4k. and since noone has installed a wideband while running low boost with their supercharger, im not going to be the first person to say it runs lean & be forced to invest into going standalone cause i dont want to go through the hassle of fighting a pig. Anyways! My next option was to get some wheels. Iv made up my mind and the exe wasnt really doin it for me, On our cars at least. Since im going all black i want something expensive looking. I dont want it to look like my previous gs since imo it looked pretty cheap. I want it to be staggered with a big rear lip. I dont know to much about wheel painting so i want something that i could perferably buy in black. I would like something 3 piece with a chrome center cap and chrome bolts on the face with everything else gloss black. Any wheel suggestions?

I was thinking some ac forged since they fit my budget.

So, rather than knowing your engines running condition, you'd prefer to be oblivious and buy new wheels instead? Much less, you could get an AEM wideband for around $200 and still have money left over for wheels...

As for your wheels, did you want "expensive" wheels, or "expensive looking" wheels? There are plenty of places that sell new/used 3-pc wheels in the style you're looking for. Also, the lip size will depend on the width and offset of the wheel more often than not... so do you also plan on doing work to your fenders?

I wanted to run low boost. I dont want to peice the kit together, install a wideband and find out i need some kind of tuner. I only concidered the install cause i read the rmm kits didnt come with an ecu so i thought it could be installed with no risk of running lean. But the members iv talked to say i will need something for fuel, and i dont want a piggy back since it will only keep the wot tune and delete the daily, the car is my DD and i dont want it running lean everytime i drive it around town. If i go standalone it would be a emmision hassle, alot of money for just 4psi and it would be a go big or go home situation and i would much rather stay home & save for a ls3 swap witch will happen. I bought my third gs for a reason and thats for big plans. As for the rims! Idk i say expensive for the reason that expensive rims tend to look alot nicer then the cheap ones! I do want them to look nice thats what im going for. I dont know much about wheel fitment so i would need some help with that. I like advil4u rim choice an thats the lip size im going for with a not so dub looking face.

Uh....... All wheels look pretty damn expensive if you ask me. You have Weds, VIP Modular, Works, Junction Produce, K-Break, Aimgain, WALD International.. All of them are high end 3 piece wheels that are 'expensive'.

What if he's pulling a loan to build credit?? I did something similar, paid it off, and my credit score shot up 200 points. And now I have bomb credit but anyways. We don't know enough about his car to tell where he should spend his loan. But then again it's his loan. So I think we should focus on advice that he's seeking. Just saying.

if your going to pull a loan i would spend it on the car. get it to run as properly as you can. even for low boost.

I wasn't sure if I had read that right but getting a loan then putting it in your car shows priorities way out of wack. Now if you have $4,000 of your own to spend that's different.
