Default My recently purchased custom grille

picked this up from carid.com. it fits over the stock grille and is not a direct replacement which is disappointing to me however i feel it looks pretty good.

Is it just a ton of 3m strips cut for your grille? How does it work

Your car is saying he's suffocating! Personally not a fan of it but if you like it, that's all that matters

I prefer i "open" type grills not only for looks but for maximum air flow to the engine. The billet style grill belongs on trucks IMO..... If you like then rock it....

Im all for breaking away from the cookie cutter mods... But black sedan and tmf2004 have pointed outmy first thought as well. You've successfully increased the surface area of your grill which restricts the amount of air that can flow into the engine bay. Is it going to kill the car prob not... But would you take a jog wearing a scuba mask?

But as always i do agree to do what u like... over time you'll make a couple of changes to the car to get it right where u want.

its an ses billet grille, heres a general pic of what it looks like before it got put on

on the backside it has 4 bolts that go through stock grille and you use the washers and nuts to secure it against the stock grille. odd thing about the grille is you use stock lexus badge and the bars leave a hole for the badge to show.

what i was hoping for origionally was a clean black grille with no badge but i didnt like the mesh grilles so i opted for this one. i actually like it and i guess the nice thing is if others dont then ill be the only person rocking this grille leaving mine to be unique

I agree with a couple of the others. What does it matter what others think. If you like it, rock it!
