yea i know it was a rip off but I'm planning on keeping the car for a while and having the part guaranteed for 3 years at the dealer was worth it to me. It died so easy and I've read these are a common issue with our cars. So to save me the hassle of buying used ones (and swapping them out all the time when they blow) I chose to let Lexus deal with it if it goes out again in the next 3 years...one less thing to deal with...now if they'd just guaranteed the stupid ball joints for three years that would be frigging awesome! Just got done replacing my 3rd one so far in the two years I've owned this car!
