I just dont know that it'd be worth the extra cost to cut out the first one after the Y.
i think its more a muffler than a resonator...

Well I did the delete a couple months ago. It sounds good. The drone isn't bad and I can hardly even tell that they are removed when just normal driving. But when I step on it it sounds really good. Not ricey or obnoxious. I would suggest it if your wanting to get a little more sporty sound.

Youre right. I was looking online at photos. When i got under my GS400 it does look like a small muffler.

Removed all 3 of my resos...wish I'd have left them and gone with a muffler delete instead on my 300

What kind of difference in sound is there between a muffler delete and a resonator delete?

I did the muffler delete on my 01 300 and it gave the exhaust a good note, but there was a little bit more drone that I would have liked when lightly accelerating, going up hills. I did the resonator delete on my other 99 300 and it gave about the same tone of sound, but had less drone. I'd personally go resonator delete all day over the muffler.

I'm guessing the OP has a 300, but here's my 400 with all 3 resonators deleted. Sounds awesome. Exactly how I wanted it.

Not to start a posting thread with exhaust videos we have a thread for that but here's mine with 3rd muffler delete into Top speed Pro high flow resonator Y-pipe to Blitz Nur Spec mufflers...

I've contemplated for a long time to take out the resonators but i'm afraid i might make the exhaust less throaty... any thoughts on that... I feel like the high flow resonators is what creates the throaty sound... any thoughts?

That sounds fantastic! I'd leave it as-is.
