Default GS 400 YAY Ofcourse...

Hi there everyone, I have been in this forum before but only with my GX 470, now I am here and feeling amazed at how much modding it can be done to this ride...I just got mine so please tell me if it is a Yay or Ney Deal...

Purpose for my GS: My GS 400 is for my fiancé as you cannot drive her E46 in the winter, well, I prefer her not to since I have invested alot in that car. I have searched for snow driving with this car is like a dream with snow tires or high quaility all season tires...

Price: $6000

KM: 168 000KM

COLOR: Pearl White, Fully Loaded

Scheduled Modding and Maintenance:

1) Royal Flush From Mobil 1: Transmission Oil, Engine Oil, Flush Engine, Brake Fluid...etc..
2) Snow or all season tires with alignment
3) Compustar Alarm 3000 with Remote Start
4) New OEM Grill and dark chrome trunk elbem
5) Timing belt and water pump at 200K
6) VIP Curtains

Here are some stock pics of the car...

ENJOY

Here is my question to you all: Can i run new high quality four season tires in the snow with snow mode? Vancouver BC only gets about 5 inch tops of snow...or shall i go all snow following OEM spec of 235 45 R17?

The GS isn't good in snow haha. You could do all seasons, but plan ahead. it snows a lot here in Buffalo and gettign around on all seasons, while possible, turned out to be a pain. I strongly suggest snow tires.

most lip kits will sit low to the ground. thats the point of a lip kit

your lips gonna scrape, its unavoidable

some of the better looking ones are the TTE and Greddy though, everything else is the whole bumper.

Thanks for the info, I was going to put 19" Rims with minimal lowering to make it look better since the car is pretty high now, as I have experienced in the past the lips will be scraped through bumps and stuff so go slowly through bumps i guess...

THANKS FOR ALL COMPLEMENTS...many things to mod and clean...more pics later...

Why is this? I thought it would be better to flush and fill with new transmission fluid...

Thats true as well as i dont think it will make a big difference in height of the car, I will mostly likely get some shock and spring combo for her...
