VSC, VSC OFF, and ENGINE Lights would come on, followed by my car going into Limp Mode, where only that last 25% (if that) of the throttle would respond (basically have to floor the pedal to even move at all).

That post claims that replacing the Idle Valve Motor fixed the issue.

You'll notice I quoted that post because he stated my problem clearly and exactly.

Not sure if you were able to fix this issue but suggestion is by a used throttle body disassemble the old one and you should be able to fix this problem. I did it to my 2001 GS300 this issue has not come back agian
