Default All I did was change tires, now hood won't close

This problem actually happen almost a year ago. I have exhausted all the ideas I could think of to fix this problem.

I took my wife's car to a buddy's tire shop. As we were putting new tires and rims on the car. I went to open the hood to change the intake filter. At this time, only the front passenger tire was in the air. (only had one jack at the time) Went to put the passenger side down and closed the hood. To my surprise, the hood will not close all the way. It does latch down, but will not sit flush anymore. I have tried to adjust the latch, even removed the hood and tried to re-aline it. Even set the little rubber black thingys to the lowest setting with no luck. Has anyone else had this problem?!?!

Are you sure it's fully latching? As a double check get a flathead screwdriver and see if you can pass it through the latch when the hood is open. If the latch is closed, put the screwdriver in themiddle of the closed latch and pull up real hard to open it. Then close the hood and you should be good. Happened to me a few times with my car.

Check for hood cable might be stuck and not returning. check if the hood levers inside the car is loose or not.

If its stuck and not smooth take out the cable and spray cable lube inside the housing.
